Description
If you want to truly dive into the Mayan culture, you absolutely need to book our tour of the Muyil Ruins. We are combining the Muyil ruins with a boat tour in the Sian Kaan reserve, including the floating through the mayan canals.
Muyil ruins are one of the oldest Mayan sites in the area and contains natural artifacts dating back 4th Century BC. This area showcases the need for survival in the Mayan culture as it includes canals the Mayans used to connect this inland city to the coast. This was prominent as it allowed for trade to occur!
After you have become engulfed in the culture, our experienced guide will take you walking through the jungle and mangrove to the lagoon.
In order to allow you to have an even more memorable time, once arrived at the lagoons of the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve, our tour allows for our patrons to experience a private boat tour of the reserve’s lagoons and a visit to another small Mayan temple.
Translating to “where the sky is born,” Sian Kaan is one of the area’s most beautiful landscapes. The biosphere is now known for its diverse vegetation and wildlife. We will also get into the water and float in one of the canals to get cooler, and this is actually quite fun as the current swims for you!
From historical ruins to natural biospheres, we provide the best excursions in the area. We look forward to taking you on an Absolute Adventure!
